Meet the wave maker
Jump in. Explore.
It’s time to wake up. To fun. To life. To SCORKL. Pack your bag. Call your mates. Hit the road. Catch that first glimpse of water. Get closer. Closer still. Smell it. Feel it. Taste it. You’re in; a playground to explore. Breathing underwater is only the beginning.
Gain speed. Spot something. Take a closer look. Be amazed. Check in. Resurface. Eat snacks, drip dry. Take snaps. Laze about, then go SCORKL again.
Welcome to the world of SCORKL. Created by founder David Hallamore to bring underwater freedom to everyone. Dive up to 6 metres or for up to 10 minutes and see a little deeper.
No expensive qualifications or the hassle of heavy equipment. Just you, your mates and the promise of adventure. Making waves. Out for a SCORKL.
How to use
Ready to dive in?
1. Fill your SCORKL using our hand pump or our scuba tank refill directly from a scuba tank. Our high-pressure hand pump pumps up to 3,000psi, filling your SCORKL with enough air to last up to 10 minutes underwater.
2. Put the regulator in your mouth once you’re in the water. Bite down to secure, breathe normally, then go.
3. Explore up to three metres deep if you aren’t scuba-trained or six metres if you are. Time spent underwater depends on your breathing speed; typically up to six minutes for a beginner or up to 10 minutes if more experienced. Keep an eye on the pressure gauge as you swim to track how much air is left.
4. When you’re done, resurface, rest, refill, then SCORKL again.
How it works
The SCORKL sits weightlessly underneath your chin, so you’ll barely even notice it as you swim.
Designed for shallow diving, the SCORKL cylinder is manufactured to the same specifications and manufacturing standards as a normal scuba cylinder.
At the working pressure of 200 bar (3,000psi), each SCORKL contains 102 litres (3.6 cubic feet) of air and is fitted with a pressure gauge to tell you how much air you have left. The SCORKL regulator is an always-on, breathe-on-demand, balanced single-stage regulator. It uses the same proven technology trusted by scuba divers all over the world.
The SCORKL holds the equivalent of roughly 68 surface breaths.
Each SCORKL pump is fitted with an air filter to filter out moisture and impurities ensuring Grade E scuba air quality.
